Photography is an interest that came to me by way of my wife's interest in it. She is actually the photographer in the family and I do what I can as enjoyment. After 50+ years in the business world, I am now retired. Nature is and has been my passion all my life from the romps in the woods and fields as a child to bass fishing in mid life to my real outdoor love, fly fishing, taken up 18 years ago. Ironically, photography has enhanced my enjoyment and awareness of my surrounding while fly fishing. A side line of my fishing is that I write stories and articles about it, mostly, for my own pleasure but some have actually been published. Perhaps, there is a niche for a writer in the photography realm as well. In any event, I am thankful to the Lord Almighty that he has blessed me with the gifts I have to enjoy the outdoors to the fullest and plan to continue the quest as long as He will allow me.
