Hi, my name is Craig and I like to take photos. I'd like to thank anyone and everyone who actually taken the time to read this.

Every image in my photo stream is an original work taken by me. I do not take other peoples images and try to pass them off as my own, nor do I post screen caps off of the web and post them. I hate to disappoint you, but you won't find any images of nude women (tasteful or otherwise) or pictures of scantily clad women in my photo stream. In large part, this is due to the fact that I have not had much success finding women who are willing to take their clothes off for me. In larger part this is due to the fact that I am happily married, and wish to remain so.

What you will find in my photo stream are pictures that appeal to me. Landscapes, portraits and snapshots. Some required more thought and effort than others, but they are images that struck me in such a way that I felt the need to capture them.

I am not a professional photographer (which should be evident by the overall quality of my work) and I have had very little formal training. I began as an enthusiast some 20+ years ago with an old Canon AE-1, and have slowly progressed to where I am today. Photography will never be my profession, it will always be a very expensive, time consuming hobby.

I shoot with Nikon equipment. Not because I feel or have ever felt that one brand is far superior to another, but rather because when I bought my first DSLR, Nikon had just released the newest, shiniest model, and I bought it. Since then, all of my glass has been a Nikon mount, so I stick with Nikon. It's certainly cheaper than replacing all of my lens's.

I’ve recently (Apr’23) made the jump from Nikon to Canon based on the superior autofocus of the mirrorless platform. And yes, I am replacing all of my glass 😳

I am still amazed that people take the time to view my work, and if you have taken the time to favorite or comment on one of my photos, you should know that I am truly grateful. I never take for granted that anyone outside the four walls of my home has any interest in what I do, and I really do appreciate your feedback.

I don't judge other photographers. Their work is their work, and they do what appeals to them, even though it may not appeal to me.

I am not one who is big on giving "awards" in my comments. I am not judging those who do, I would just rather express my self in my own words, and not be forced to use some copy and paste expression. I have been given some of these "awards" for some of my photos, and it's not that I do not appreciate them, it's just not something I feel led to do. If I choose to comment on one of your photos, it is because it appealed to me, and I want to let you know. (Not that anyone should care what I think about anything.)

So again, thanks for taking that time to look at my work. I hope you found something you liked, but if you didn't, check back again someday and hopefully you will.
