My wife and I moved to California from Warsaw, New York (near Buffalo) in 2006.

Several years ago, I decided to take up photography as a hobby. My cameras are a Canon Rebel XT and a Canon Power Shot A-540. My editing software is PS Elements 7.

My main interests are "landscape" and "weather related." California abounds with everything anyone could want for this type of photography.

I especially enjoy combining several images to create panoramics. Also, restoring old and battered photos is quite a challenge.

Recently, I ran across this quote by Richard Martin:

"Eventually, there comes a time when an old photo is all we have left of someone we loved, of a long time gone, and of emotions we had forgotten.

You can't put a price tag on that."
