I'm a Holland-based professional illustrator,

always on the look out for new ideas and inspiration, and working on improving myself and of course my art work.

I'm always working on my 'line'(handwriting), trying to make my art look spontaneous, and most of all fun to look at: humour is what keeps me going.

I graduated from the Ecole de Recherche Graphique in Brussels in 94, specializing in illustration and comic drawing,

and with a large interest in photography(still one of my favourite hobbies).

After that I studied mass communication at the University of Amsterdam for a year.

I'm most proud of the children's book I did(Waar zijn mijn oren?), and would love to do more of those.

Traveling helps me not to take anything for granted, and meeting new people and seeing different places totally gives me the inspiration I need to keep doing what I love most.

So far I've worked for (heaps of)magazines and book publishers, designed gift boxes, did posters and illustrations for a New Zealand based graphic designer, and took part in group exhibitions in Amsterdam and Brussels.
