A young and lively photographer, Florian has exploded onto the photog scene with a refreshing and graceful yet perfectly rugged attitude. Aesthetically coloring outside the lines, so to speak, the selvedge-clad New Yorker decides what's cool with pictures that ooze spunk like your elementary school bully. Don't think, however, that Florian's work is undisciplined. Every one of his images portrays an understanding of composition and of visual space that neither time nor instruction can influence, but that is the phenotypical realization of a skill deep in his DNA. And despite all the ways in which he can awe you (a portrait of him will show you at least one other), his cool and calm air solidifies his presence in the artistic domain as already comparable to those of the greats. That is, Florian's persona is a form of art in-and-of itself. And he probably doesn't even care.
