Christmas of 2008 started my journey in photography. I bought myself an inexpensive camera; Cannon S31. It was great. So I started taking pictures, asking questions and reading blogs on the internet. About six months later I bought a DSLR; Nikon D70. I bought this camera because I couldn't afford the D80 and I already owned some Nikkor lenses. Now, one year later, I own the Nikon D80 and couldn't be happier. I believe my advance in equipment and experience is beginning to show in the photographs, the subjects of which are primarily of my growing family and nature. We'll see where this year takes me, my family and my photography.
