June 2024, time for an update :-)
I still love film photos very much and I haven't moved back to taking them myself yet.
When I was given older digital cameras as a gift, it helped me to come a bit closer to the atmospheric pictures I like to look at. This sparked my interest in capturing moments in the moment itself, I rarely take videos and video stills anymore.
I've been on the road a lot lately, and most of my pictures are taken on my walks and often in the woods.
All this has also influenced my animations. In the past two years I used mainly photos for backgrounds and I really enjoyed the process of making collages. Last year I also uploaded my advent calendar to Instagram for the first time. So in case you are interested in small animations:

I really enjoy looking at photos and photo collections. I love atmospheric images and I find the mood, colors, light and softness of analog photos very special.
As for myself, I've been shooting exclusively digitally for years. My main focus are interior photo projects, so far mostly with myself as my model, where I try to bring together my favorite elements, from outfits and fabrics to things like paper lanterns, paper fans and all sorts of other things made of paper, to tree blossoms, if it should happen to be the right season. An important motivation for my pictures are projects together with friends.
My images are typically created afterwards on the PC as stills from videos.
Sometimes I will try to capture things that I see. While I always have a camera with me outside, I often quickly use the phone for this.
For this reason and others, so far, I've been hesitant to share images from my collection publicly. However ... today, I try to change that ... so ... hello :-) ... I'm Christine
The photo collections of others are infinitely enriching for me, maybe I can give some of that back.
For some time now I have been experimenting with short animations and making illustrations for them. Again, this is mainly done in phases and as part of small projects. Some of my illustration ideas are definitely influenced by ukiyo-e, children's book illustrations and magazine illustrations from the 20s and 30s.
If you should be interested in small animations, you can find my latest project, an advent calendar with animated GIFs for family & friends, here:
