Hi, my name is Philip McCobb and I am an illustrator and graphic designer currently living in California. I have worked in marketing for many years and specialize in developing contemporary illustrative concepts for brand development, marketing event systems.

I try and choose real people from historic moments as subjects for my paintings and portray them as characters. Having lived in Yokohama Japan as a child, my style tends to lend itself towards the manga and anime style. It's very colorful, fresh and bold. But after having worked as a commercial designer for over 15 years, I have learned how to bridge the gap between commercial art and cutting edge concepts and making it accessible.
