I have never written a profile because I didn't know what to say. I guess that could be interpreted as there isn't much to say. Sometimes an absolute stranger can see us more clearly than we see ourselves. One of my photos was blogged and this is what he wrote about me . . .
How often do we rush through life without noticing the small beautiful details? Even on a walk in the woods I can be in a rush or preoccupied with worries and so I miss the small miracles around me. bvshort is a photographer who captures the small wonders that surround her. Her nature photographs are intimate portraits... capturing flowers and animals as someone would photograph a loved one.

Her comments are always encouraging and positiv, full of esprit and humour and she knows how to say things “between the lines”, I admire that, too. I love her for being a warm-hearted, caring friend and cat-lover, who always comes up with heartfelt words of consolation when you need it. Never ever shall I forget her support when I had to loose my beloved Konny. I love you Bev and I am ever so lucky you count me among your friends! :-))

I am so glad I met Bev on flickr! She takes the most stupendous photos - like a professional. I look out for a bird photo from her eagerly! But she is also a sweet friend - always generous in her praise of my photos and caring about our mutual flickr friends.
