Every so often, I post a testimonial for a photographer recognizing their work. This recognition is well overdue. I distinctly remember the first time I came across Flickering Ability (Kishore); it was the “Life in Abandonment” image that impressed me very much. Since then, I have watched his work closely and was never disappointed. Kishore harnesses his powers of vision, perception, and sight to capture each moment’s optics and emotions, which produces a remarkable visual treasure each time. I feel his work should be observed, not by passing; it necessitates time to study and appreciate. It is inspirational and much to be learned from. Kishore’s work has commanded a wide variety of subjects, which you can analyze throughout his photostream. He has not only covered street, landscape, and portrait photography, to name some; moreover, he reveals an innate ability to choreograph a scene to convey a message, be it politics, fashion, emotional, or different subjects. And he continues to surprise me on many other fronts as well. Thank you for sharing your work, and please stay safe and healthy during a period, unlike any of us has ever seen before. I have known Kishore for several years now and know and love his beautiful and skilled works, which range from people both models and candids portraying the subjects perfectly; to stunningly beautiful landscapes, nature, cityscapes and he also brilliantly captures life today. He is extremely generous and encouraging with his helpful and detailed comments about one's work including the nonprofessionals such as myself who delight in experimenting. Flick'gAbility is quite an instituion on this photography site for his lucid statements of prose to describe and point out what exactly and how exactly various elements of a frame work in a photograph. His expert eyes see everything in a photograph from the lighting to the story telling and he expresses it in good measure. He is like a Professor Emeritus of photography that any photographer can dream of. Whether you are a neophyte in photography or a seasoned pro, his words will put you in the right path of your journey in the visual world. A world, that we try to interpret everyday with our cameras. His photography is ever evolving. From portraits in large crowds that always have a unique expression of the subject to tell a story, I see now, individual portraits worshipping the beauty of the female form and face. Landscapes, abstracts and what have you, he excels in each of the forms with consummate ease. It is a rich and rewarding experience to see his work on Flickr and of course cherish every comment that he has on your very own photography.
