I am wonderful, as in, full of wonder. Although my father was a photographer and journalist before I was born, I feel as though my interest in photography developed independently.

Photography for me is an emotional outlet. I take pictures because my physical surroundings impact my emotions. My manipulation of the camera is an effort capture the essence of how a place makes me feel. The dynamic light in nature intrigues me, especially living in Alaska where light plays across the land differently every day.

I'm still learning technical finesse, such as how to better isolate and emphasize subjects. I end up taking lot of landscape pictures, which are essentially a chronicle of where my adventurous life has taken me.
