"This woman's art (and photgraphy) is honest in its entire approach. It is “honest” in that it does not seek to placate what the common denominator thinks is “appropriate esthetics”. She seeks to explore her insides, her own mind in her own way. Her imagination offers the viewer what can very well be described as a “spiritual autobiography”—a world that is seen through the prism of the artist—which is a hundred times more valuable than churned out work done without heart or passion. Looking at her work has a mirror effect: I feel as if I am seeing my soul in this woman’s art. In other words, it reaches me. It has a total funhouse feel: sometimes bawdy, innocent, twisted, warm, introspective, charismatic, but always creative. Possessing the technical skill, she is armed to let her imagination roam--and the results are found in an alternate reality of the artist’s mind.
