The Flat River Band’s members are lead singer, lead guitarist and songwriter Chad Sitze, his brother, mandolin, harmonica and electric guitarist, lead and harmony vocals Dennijo Sitze, their other brother, electric and upright bass, lead and harmony vocals, Andy Sitze.

The Sitze brothers began playing music at an early age with their Parent’s band, the Sitze Family. The entire family played venues such as Dollywood, Silver Dollar City, and numerous festivals, fairs and churches.

Music was an integral part of everyday life in the Sitze family. They soaked up a variety of musical influences ranging from their parent’s bluegrass gospel to country and southern rock.

All three brothers moved to Nashville in 2006 to continue their musical journey. Their writing skills and dynamic performances have captured the attention of veterans in the Nashville music scene and allowed them to perform with songwriters such as John Scott Sherrill, Jimmy Stewart, Paul Overstreet, Michael Smotherman and numerous others.

The cookie cutter factories of country music down on music row will never be able to create or duplicate the music and the harmonies that are found in The Flat River Band.

Put country super group, Alabama on steroids and then drink down the smooth harmonies of the Gatlin Brothers, then inhale the sweet southern music of the Marshall Tucker Band and at that point you will have experienced the Flat River Band.
