The minute I saw Flash's work--the Art Masters Series--I immediately recognized his sense of humor and keen eye for detail through his lens. I saw a potential kindred spirit whose own fashion sense and POV was in many ways a reflection of my own. Being who I am, I Flickr-stalked him until he submitted--quite quickly I might add--to my pleas to chat. When we actually started hanging out, I found in him to be someone who is kind and generous of spirit. And I would dare say that--despite already having a pretty strong aesthetic--I see his influence weaving itself throughout my own work--particularly in the do-it-yourself mindset. Flash is an incredible talent that maybe is humbler than he should be. I look forward to more collaborating in the future Papi! On a personal level, the fact that he finds my twisted mind funny and tolerates my strong will keeps me coming back for more.
