The Flapper Girl is a Chicago-based jazz vocalist with three nationally acclaimed albums and concert billings from the US to Europe. Influenced, initially, by her beloved grandfather's love of jazz standards and romanced by the ideals of the Roaring 20's, Erin has cultivated a progressive but vintage-inspired fashion in her overall style (-both musically and physically). Her very modernized jazz treatment of original compositions and re-worked standards embody the innovation of her artistry, and the evocative nature of her intimate expressions as she exposes these songs' relevance in music's current cultural dichotomy between popular idioms and the diversity of the jazz genre.

In a nutshell:

Humanity and the absence of it has had a profound influence on the personality and presentation of this singer's music, relationships and life. Much like anyone, perhaps.
