I'm not very good at describing myself. I tend to do a lot of stuff and really like trying to expand my horizons. Photography, outdoors, and recently flying RC aircraft all seem to catch my attention. Sometimes too much of it! Photographically speaking, I now lean heavily on using semi-auto modes after a spell of strictly manual shooting. Aperture priority is my friend! I now shoot RAW almost exclusively since it gives me so many options when I want to create the finished product. I upgraded my equipment in steps last year, starting backwards with a Canon 7D body. Then a Tokina 100-400mm lens and finally my best choice a 17-50mm Tamron f2.8 lens. My relationship with the Toki' is a bit shaky, I can create acceptable images with it but I just can't seem to make them 'pop' most of the time. The Tamron on the other hand, mmmmm nice. My skills can't do that lens justice.
