I started into photography at twelve as a kid with my Dads 35mm Exacta, I still use a Canon AE1 that takes great pics but have just got a Canon A570 IS my third digital compact but the first to allow some manual override.

I have now [April 2009] aquired a Canon 400D second hand so I can improve a bit more, allthough at heart if I had to take some meaningful photo's I would still opt for film and my Canon AE-1

My photostream is a mix of everyday snaps and cycling events with a few moments of inspiration and luck that gives way to a good photo.
