I'm 60 and have been taking photos for a long time (although not very often) without any training or discipline or purpose aside from a desire to memorialize friends, family and places I've been. As I've gotten older, I've tried my hand at more artistic aspects of photography, and found that I really enjoy the creative process and the hunt for interesting images. Now that experimenting doesn't cost an arm and a leg thanks to digital cameras, I have a new favorite hobby (after reading and travelling!). Hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them.
