Hi All!

I have always loved photography and taking photos, but I never took it seriously as a hobby until my husband and another good friend told me they thought if I actually took this seriously and actually "learned" photography, that I might possibly have a great second career or retirement income opportunity. So, in April, I bit the bullet and bought a DSLR (Canon T4i) and we have since developed quite a love/hate relationship. :)

I love how much the camera will enrich my art, but at this point, I almost feel like the "technical stuff", gets in the way of the art, so to speak. With my point and shoot I saw something, composed it and shot. Didn't have to think about shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc...

Anyway, I digress. Updates to come as I progress in my learning and this all becomes more natural to me.

I appreciate any and all constructive criticism. I am not easily offended and do want to progress in the "art" of photography. I do believe I have an eye (if that doesn't sound vain), and I'm hoping this journey of learning the DSLR helps to enrich that.

Thanks for your visit.
