Team 236 "the Techno Ticks" is a First Robotics Team hailing from Lyme-Old Lyme High School. Team 236 is a team that consists of members not only from Lyme-Old Lyme High School, but also from East Lyme High School. We have helped multiple teams get on their feet, such as team 3719, the "Stem Whalers" and team 2067 "Apple Pi". Team 236 has won the chairman's award for these actions in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. We have also won robotics events such as the New England Regional in 2003 , and the NE First Waterbury Event in 2015. In 2018, we have 15 new recruits from both East Lyme and Lyme-Old Lyme High-schools. This year, our design will take First Robotics by storm because, as we like to say, "It's in our Blood."
