If you had to pick a single word to describe the Firsts, that word would be 'dynamic'. An international line-up comprising four experienced musicians from very different backgrounds gives the Helsinki-based indie rock band a truely irresistible flavour!

Band members Tom Morgan (Wales) and Tomi Rajala (Finland) had played together in an earlier band but a frustrating lack of development prompted them to leave and start afresh. Antti Lehto (Finland) and Christian Schäfer (Germany) jumped on board to complete the lineup and the band met for their first rehearsal on August 3rd 2008.

The Firsts' captivating combination of soaring guitar riffs, vigorous bass lines, catchy melodies and pumping drum beats creates one of the most satisfying indie experiences of the moment.

A debut gig at Friday Music Bar (Helsinki) on December 19th 2008 begun a new era in indie music. Moved by the live performance admiring hips swung into action, foot-tapping became epidemic and heads nodded uncontrollably into the early hours...
