The First Division Museum is more than four walls with some interesting artifacts in it. It is a story. It is a history. It is an education. And it can be fun. Within these four walls is the 10,000 square foot Main Exhibit Hall of the museum, which tells the story of the division from the Revolutionary War to Desert Storm through interactive galleries. The Tank Park just outside the museum is known throughout the Midwest for its extensive tank collection from the World War I era to the Desert Storm era, along with armored personnel carriers and artillery pieces.
