Established in 1986, the Firefighters Museum of Calgary is dedicated to the acquisition, preservation and presentation of the history and legacy of firefighting in Calgary and western Canada.

 

The Firefighters Museum of Calgary is home to an extensive collection of firefighting equipment from the early 1900s to the present; including hand drawn, horse drawn and motorized apparatus. Our extensive collection consists of photographs, artwork, memorabilia, and historical documents from the inception of the Calgary Fire Department in 1885 until now.
