I am a retired nurse who has decided to take a more serious interest in photography. I have always been the family photographer. If you go through my photo albums you will see that I'm not in any of them LOL. I bought my first DSLR in April 2012 and have been continually taking photos since then. I am a member of the Bay Photography Club and have enjoyed socializing and learning at the same time. Photography has made me much more aware of the world around me and I'm beginning to see photo ops everywhere. I have learned a lot by joining Flikr and observing the beautiful photo art from my Flikr friends and contacts. To me photography is a way to lose myself in the beauty of our world. I don't have a specific goal except to learn more and improve my skills. Thanks to all who have added me as a contact and make comments and suggestions on my work.
