I am a 47 year old, Volunteer Firefighter/EMT, Father, Husband, Son, Photographer... Lately, I have become more of a photoshop artist who likes to take pictures. I enjoy photography, but I also enjoy adding a little something to my photos.

I am currently employed as the National Training Liaison for the Emergency Management Institute, part of FEMA and DHS. I am responsible for outreach, marketing of our programs, interfacing with State, local, tribal, and territorial government officials. I am responsible for our international training programs, supporting and delivering our courses to countries around the world. I coordinate with the Regional Training/Exercise Managers, State Training/Exercise Officers, and State Administrative Agency Training POCs as an advocate for EMI and for thier needs. I also host the National Training, Education, and Exercise Symposium, held in Emmitsburg, MD at the National Emergency Training Center.

I have also worked as scriptwriter, video editor, video producer/director, and videographer. I have been employed as an Instructional Designer developing Web-based and Instructor-led training as well as several video productions. I have spent time working in advertising and in television production, in addition to developing media for a training resources company. I was in the U.S. Navy, and had the pleasure to be stationed ashore, avoiding all but a few weeks of sea duty.

I am a volunteer firefighter/EMT in Carroll County and Baltimore County, MD with the Winfield and Community Volunteer Fire Departmentand the Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company. I have degrees from Villa Julie College, in Stevenson, MD - Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Technology - Video Production and University of Maryland, Baltimore County, in Catonsville, MD - Master of Arts in Instructional Systems Design.
