Welcome to my Flickr page!

I am a photographer ending my third year of shooting in digital. I have no preference between film and digital since each has its advantage, but for health reasons, I stick with digital.

I currently shoot with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi/450D and two lenses: the original 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 kit lens and a Tamron 28-300mm 3.5-6.5 tele-zoom. I have two years with this equipment.

For backup, I have been using a Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital Elph for the past 4 years. About half of the photos on my Flickr page are from this little camera.

I really enjoy photographing nature. Insects and plants are the most readily available subject for me to photograph so I practice on them a lot. I love the challenges of photographing lightning and am eager to take on new and varied projects.

As for work related to photography, I am currently volunteering as a photographer in my church's production team, photographing homes for a real estate agent, and doing other freelance work. I'm available for hire! Just email me at finnefotography@gmail.com and we can work out details.

I've learned a ton from Tim Stone and have had the joy of watching sbalani grow his photography pretty much from the beginning. They both inspire me with their pictures and coolest of all, they're really good friends.
