I grew up in the countryside of Northwest England and spent time roaming and enjoying my surroundings there. This love of the outdoors gave me the desire to travel and see other parts of the world.

During my travels I have appreciated more and more the wonderful wildlife that surrounds us and decided to capture those images. I tend to focus mainly on Birds and Dragonflies, but also enjoy the thrill of capturing any wildlife that crosses my path or any special places that evoke my emotions.

I also like to create Digital Art and use several pieces of software to do this. There is no set formula as each image leads me to create something different each time. From my photo stream you will see that these images range from wildlife & pets to places around the world. I hope you enjoy.

I currently use a Nikon D7200 with a Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G AF-S VR NIKKOR lens, Nikon 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D AF-VR NIKKOR lens and Tamron SP AF 200-500mm F5-6.3 Di LD IF Lenses for my shots. I also use a Manfrotto 680B monopod or Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 tripod, although most of my shot are hand-held.

I also use my Phone for some images.
