I am a Canadian that now lives in Finland with my adorable and wonderful Finnish gal! :)
I have always been interested in photography but never really spent much time with it until recently I decided to try to do more. I want to learn to become a better photographer as well as learn more about post processing to make the photos more compelling. At first I mostly made landscape and nature photos but recently I have been consumed with portrait photography. It has been very fulfilling and great fun to see my friends transform into fashion models during these sessions with them. :)
The flickr community has been a great inspiration to help me with my goal of becoming a better photographer.

You know how sometimes you see work of a fantastic photographer and first you get excited and inspired, but after a while you lose the fascination towards their work, because there's nothing new to see in their style? That is certainly not the case wtih Barry! I've thought Barry was a fabulous photographer when I saw his pictures in Flickr, and now after a year I think there's no end to the evolving of his work! He's not just a photographer who's work you view once and think "that's cool". His work is something you want to keep following: It's brilliant, beautiful, humble and fresh, and there's something very good-hearted in it. His pictures are a real pleasure to view and I can't wait to see the heights where his skills will fly him. Thanks for being a continuing inspiration, Barry!
