- When I was 5 years old I was dreaming to "change the world"...

- At about 10 years old I received for Christmas my first camera; it was, if I can remember, a "Brownie" from Kodak. but I was mostly only taking family pictures with it...

- In my early 20's , with my savings, I bought my first "through the lens" camera (it was a Ricoh) and a slides projector and enjoyed very much presenting slide shows to my family; I especially liked to use a nice song on them, or a beautiful music, to express some feeling or transmit a message; I always felt that a slide shows could be as much, if not more, moving our soul on a screen than a movie.

- Since I was 30 y.o. I started a career in front of the camera as an international model which made me traveling half or the world, mostly by myself, so most of my time off, I was enjoying it taking pictures, mostly landscapes or interesting/funny pictures...

- Now that I turned 50 and that I taught myself all about the internet, I got the feeling that I can still realize my child's dream or ideal, to change the world (at least contribute to !) by expressing, sharing positive feelings of peace and love. I hope that Flickr will help me a lot that way :-)

- By the way, for the people who are wondering, I often avoid telling about my origins because it is quite complicated, so I prefer say I am from the world, or international, which goes with my life philosophy; but in case, I was born in Africa, grew up in Switzerland; my mother is from Antwerp in Belgium, my father is from Paris, I speak French, English and Spanish, have worked in New York City during the last years and I am living now in Mexico.....I told you it's kind of complicated !...)
