After 25 years of work as a sculptor, I made the switch to photography. As it was with the sculptures, also here I am drawn to the moments where there is this interesting interplay of line, form and structure.

I find these moments on the streets, where people live and work. Also I find them in between the remnants of the process of building or decay.

They are true 'peintures trouvees', They are left overs, coincidental and fleeting traces, which with a click are lifted out of their anonymity and given a life of their own. An interesting composition in itself is enough but I am also drawn when there is a suggestion towards something familiar like nature, animals or people.

My objective is that you cannot detect the source of the photo; you must not be able to trace it back, only forward.
