I am a self-taught photographer alongside my job as a Systems Engineer with the European Space Agency. I have a particular interest in travel, and once drove from the UK to Mongolia for charity. My other interests include live music, whisky and a classic 1962 VW camper van called Douglas.

My photography developed out of amateur enthusiasm, and focuses on music, travel and sharing what I learn. My scientific and engineering background gives me a deep technical understanding of my equipment and processes, and my work has featured in various publications and online media.

I publish on my Flickr page under a Creative Commons licence, so anyone can use my photos for free for non-commercial purposes (with a few simple conditions).
