I've been sewing since I was in high school. Spent part of my time in university studying and working as a costume designer. For several years I have been crafting a variety of things, hand-making almost all of the gifts I give, and following the craft movement and its representation in art. I have been quilting for a while and started exploring dyeing, screen printing and fabric design in 2010 while living in Austin, TX. Making and playing with textiles is very much a part of my life.

I'm also a very happy wife with an awesome son adjusting to a new life in Pittsburgh, PA. We love this city and want to do what we can to support and improve our community.

In May 2012 a friend of mine and I started the Pittsburgh Modern Quilt Guild. I am currently the president of the guild. We want to promote and grow the modern quilt movement and bringing creativity and positivity to those in need.
