-=In honor of my grandfather Barry Mansell who passed in early 2023, I've created Albums and a Collection to showcase some of his work. Since 2017 I worked on scanning his slides to digital and organizing his photographs to keep his 40,000 image portfolio more manageable. He travelled around Florida, Georgia, Arizona and New Mexico with professors, biologists, and Fish & Wildlife documenting what they saw including extraordinary people such as Dr. Ab Abercrombie, Paul Moler, Randy Babb, and Johan Marais.

Until now his images have not been made public except for ones he had given to photo agencies to sell for books and magazines, but I'm elated to be able to showcase his legacy to others after all the years of sorting and organizing. Since I am nowhere near the expert he was, only if I was certain he mislabeled an image would I correct it in my organizing and tagging. Should you believe any image is labelled incorrectly please let me know so I can fix it!=-

My grandfather instilled in me a passion for wildlife and nature as a child. His pictures in Ranger Rick, National Geographic, books, and museums is something I get to share with friends and family still to this day. I strive to bring the same passion for wildlife into my photography adventures as he did.
