I am Ferdous Aktar Tasni.

I started taking photograph's in my university days. That time I used to take all the picture of our family events and of my friends. I got very interested in photography after I got married and that time I had simple point and shoot camera (Panasonic DMC-FS33). I used to take a lot of landscape pictures with that camera and after awhile I decided to join Pathshala South Asian Media Academy to learn the basics of photography so I did got admitted there in April, 2011 and from that time the actual journey begun. Pathshala changed my outlook about photography and now I love to tell stories through my pictures. In the month of July, 2011 I bought my first DSLR Nikon D90 and started doing photography wholeheartedly love photography and still learning it.

In photography actually there are no rules but first you have to know the rules to break it and create something new that is entirely your original creation and I believe it strongly that's why I am trying to learn all the rules’ like to keep my photographs very simple and down to earth. We have a very rich culture and heritage in Bangladesh and I want to show all of that to the world through my pictures’ like to compose my pictures in a way so that is looks simple and real as well as striking to the viewer’s eyes. When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice and also feel there is the real zest of Bangladesh.
