My husband, Bill, and I are retired but our business was Fender's Flora, Inc. for many years. We were located in Apopka, Florida for 20 years where we grew primarily Boston fern. We sold 4 inch "plugs" wholesale to growers across the United States. We moved to Venice, Florida in 2000 and grew orchids for a few years which we sold retail. Bill enjoyed breeding orchids, primarily cattleyas.

We have two married children. Our daughter and her husband live in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina and our son, his wife and our only granddaughter live in Plantation, Florida.

Bill and I enjoy Venice very much. We also enjoy visiting our children and traveling to New Mexico.
