Hi,

I’m Femke, 23 years old and live in Belgium (Ghent). I’m a student in medical sciences and started photography 2 years ago. I bought my first (and only) Nikon camera back then and started photographing some friends in different sceneries. I really didn’t know what I was doing. It was mostly ‘trial and error’ and I had fun with it. I had plenty of idea’s but didn’t know how to accomplish them, so I started reading some books and watched tutorials on youtube to refine my knowledge. I still have a lot to learn but i really love what I do right now. Every time I finish a great picture, it feels like there’s a bunch of butterflies taking over my body. I just really need a creative outlet in my life. I would rather die then spending my whole life in the medical lab only.

Last week I bought my first analog camera (Minolta). I’m very excited to see the results of my first film and I hope to share it with you soon!
