At Penn's Fels Institute of Government, we've been educating students committed to making a difference in the world for over 75 years. Our approach is distinctive--our small size and unique setting make the Fels program incredibly personal, and our practice-focused curriculum, taught by practitioners and some of Penn's most distinguished faculty, keeps us closely focused on real world results.

We also practice what we teach through our Research and Consulting Group, which brings students together with seasoned researchers and consultants to partner with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, civic groups and other Penn departments to bring the academic resources of the University to bear on the challenges and opportunities facing the public sector.
