Peter has a quiet furiosity that burns with nearly every photo he takes. Somehow both his personal humor and thoughtful seriousness frequently shows clearly in the same photo. He often photographs something i cannot well define in the expressionist movement of people and places and has the amazing ability to be immersed in an event and also render it carefully, objectively and lovingly as one would a beautiful wild rabbit - even if the object of that entrapment was too cook it up and eat it. He is, in my mind, one of the most talented photographers - young or old - that i've yet to meet.
