Photographer/Photo Editor, retired in late 2008. I was the UPI staff photographer in Philadelphia 1971-1985. I was hired by Reuters and moved to Brussels in 1985 where I was Assistant Picture Editor and Chief photographer 1985-1988. I then moved on to AP. First as Foreign picture editor on the NY Desk 1988-1990, then I was appointed Senior Editor for Europe, Africa and the Mid-East based in London 1990-2001. I returned to NY as World Sports Picture Editor 2001-2003. I finish up my career as Deputy Editor for International Photos 2003-2008.

Half my career was as a street shoot, then rest as an Editor. Spend my time shooting color features in the Philadelphia area and waiting for my son and his wife to have a grandchild
