The Feinstein International Center strives to improve the lives and livelihoods of communities caught up in complex emergencies, war, and other crises.

 

Established in 1996 as part of the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, the Center carries out field-based research in complex emergency environments. These include Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Sri-Lanka, and many other areas affected by humanitarian crises.
