This is one of the most toughest thing I have faced – Self Introduction!. Any way I’ve to start. So here I go.

As you know, my name is Febin Joy, hailing from Kochi, Kerala, India. I am a Software Engineer by profession. My other interests include Drawing, Painting and Photography. At times I used to scribble too… But since that’s a tough job and me being very lazy(when I’m not working), not that much active in that. The other 3 are not mere hobbies for me. It can be called as intense passions which I have. If the idea of a hobby is how you spend your free time, I prefer to sleep, or to listen to music, or roam around with my friends.

I used to draw (with pencil) since I was a kid. But never took it seriously. Later moved on to Oil Pastels(It’s a big brother of pencils) recently. But to draw and paint, there requires lot of time and patience. When I found it hard to manage it in between my tight schedules, I bought a digital camera(Using a camera, I can have the results instantly). That is how a Fuji FinePix s6500fd became my companion. Photography didn’t take much time to become a passion of mine. Exactly after one year, I moved on to the bigger arena and got myself a Digital SLR – Nikon D80 and 2 lenses(an 18 – 55 VR lens from Nikkor, which is the kit lens of Nikon D60 and a 70 – 300 tele lens from Sigma). The recent addition to my kit is a 50 mm prime lens from Nikkor… Now I am in love with my Nikon… may be the same love Michael Schumacher had for his Ferrari, or Sachin Tendulkar have for his willow inscribed “MRF”….
