I have been involved with photography since my early teens and have been working in the field of medical and ophthalmic photography for 35 years. Retired in the Fall of 2017 from the Dept. of Ophthalmology at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Interested in nature, landscape and wildlife photography and astrophotography. I enjoy astronomy, birding, geocaching, genealogy and collecting minerals and coins. I use primarily Nikon FX/DX/Z gear but own an assortment of Canon and Nikon film gear too. I also use a Nikon V3 (CX format) and Sony RX10/RX100 series cameras for light and compact gear for travel and nature photography. For my most compact imaging kit I use an iPhone 12 Max Pro with Moment lenses (10X Macro, Superfish, Wide 18 mm and Tele 58 mm).

I enjoy travelling to National Parks, National Wildlife Refuges and beautiful places all over the world. My travel bucket list is very long. Would like to see England/Scotland/Ireland, Australia, Portugal, Greece and Norway in the next few years. Birding and photography in Central and South America in countries like Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Colombis, Belize and Cuba.

I am married to a wonderful woman from Redondo Beach, CA and we have a daughter and a son. I have lived in Puerto Rico, Santa Barbara,CA and Portland,OR. Currently living in Vermont for the past 33 years.
