Friends of the Dillon Ranger District (FDRD) is a non-profit organization that partners with the Dillon Ranger District by leveraging the power of volunteers to assure that the National Forest lands enjoyed by millions of people of each year are not negatively impacted by their popularity. By volunteering with FDRD, or supporting us with a financial contribution, you are benefiting the lands that make Summit County a world-class destination.

With more than 60 projects each year, FDRD volunteers contribute thousands of hours maintaining and improving trails, planting trees, pulling invasive weeds, educating forest visitors and much more.
