I'm a graphic designer based in Lisbon, Portugal (www.atelierpedrofalcao.com). I became a specialist in book design, and communication. I work mainly with artists and architects, with museums and institutions that are related with creative disciplines. Probably my most popular work is the logo from MAAT – Museum of Art Architecture and Technology. I created this page, not to show my graphic work, but to talk about other things. I have a couple of projects running beside my profession as a graphic designer, one is Fly Black Bird (www.flyblackbird.pt) that is about surfboard design and the other is FBB analogue that is about my passion about analogue cameras, film, and of course, photography.
So, FBB analogue is an extension of my thoughts based on the Fly Black Bird imagetic. This sentence that I discover somewhere is the reason of my analog thinking "The Past Shapes The Future". I'm building a collection of analogue cameras, that I started in 2017. I buy them on e-bay, auctions, to people, etc. Since I'm good with hands (thanks to my grandfather who was a watch repair expert), I developed this ability to fix them, when they are not working. Sometimes I have about 10 cameras of the same model, just to get one in mint conditions, some of them became donors of some parts.
I made this flickr page to show the collection and the characteristics of each model, and most of it, the images that each model, lens, films can produce.
