You know that word association game? Say the first thing that comes to you when you hear something? Well if you said bird photography to me it would be Fastball95. Fastball95 loves baseball too (how could you tell?), but if you visit his stream you will see that he spends almost every waking moment that he is not working, photographing birds (and baseball :-)) I have known Steve since he started participating in the PCA group on flickr and it has been a privilege. He is always willing to offer tips and critiques and I know if I ever get to go to Florida on a photographic trip he will be the person I'd want to hang out and go on the grand tour with! Steve is willing to step outside his comfort zone too. He loves to try new things and you'll occasionally see these interspersed with the amazing wildlife images that he produces. A great contact to have!

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Steve for about 21/2 years now. The entire time I have known Steve, he has remained focused and intent on his goals as a photographer. His intelligence, sense of humor and dedication to helping others are all traits I admire. His willingness to "play" is one of the things I like about him the best. Lea and I have pretty much trashed a few of his threads with jokes and bad humor, and he plays along :) How cool is that. Thanks Steve, for your inspiration, your friendship and your tolerance. It's about time I wrote this guy a testimonial! Fastball is what flickr is made of. His photos are brilliant, and he is an amazing person. He has helped and guided me, and he's been a huge part of my progress as a photographer. He's willing to share his wisdom. And I greatly appreciate that! The way he captures wildlife is truly amazing. I've never seen anyone. master the art of catching a hawk in mid-flight quite like Fastball has. His macro work is simply breathtaking. Get to know him.
