Farhan Alvee is a Bangladeshi Photographer, Independent Artist, Director, and Writer, born on 29th November 1996 in Kishoreganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his Secondary and Higher Secondary education in his hometown and graduated with a major in Marketing from Daffodil International University.
Farhan's passion for photography began in his school days, using a 9mm film camera in class 4, to capture moments from family occasions. His love for photography grew after receiving his first camera phone in 2006, though he wasn't fully satisfied with the images. In 2010, his journey took a significant turn when he got his first Digital SLR camera, and by 2015, he entered the world of professional photography with his first professional DSLR. Specializing in Street Photography, Farhan has participated in several national exhibitions and won numerous awards.
In 2020, Farhan expanded his creative expression into filmmaking. His second short film, Uncertainty, reflecting the COVID-19 pandemic, earned the Champion Award at the DIU Summer Fest 2020, one of the largest online events in Bangladesh.
Beyond his creative pursuits, Farhan worked in a marketing agency and a bank for two years, honing his strategic and operational skills. In 2024, he moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where he is currently pursuing a master's degree in Marketing Communication at Stockholm University.
