Photography is a way of expression for me.

This was especially so after I discovered digital photography and the possibility of being in control of the whole process, from pressing the shutter to printing. Than i also discovered that photography is more than just pressing the shutter; it also shows ones own, more personal, view on the world.

There are so many stories that can be told in one image, and to me the best stories are just out there on the street, just waiting to be captured.

In my photography I want to strive for a personal style, preferably more than a signature....but a permanent memory of the image in the viewers mind :) When I have succeeded in accomplishing that I will be pleased and motivated to continue to find more memories for you.

Testimonials

It is difficult to understand as much Farfarm found inspiration in everyday situations. But you have trained your senses to achieve this with ease, and art. You have become a major urban thief of souls, I hope to get the most out of your learning style, if I may.

Michel your vision is unique, I love the way you capture it with your photos, the world is out there, and it might look plain to most people, but you find more of it, you create stories, you create situations, you make us want to know/see more about these world you create. Congratulations!

Michel Farfarm is a so gentle man that he wrote a testimonial for me, when, actually, he deserved one from me since I first met his stream. Michel Farfarm is a so gentle man that he wrote a testimonial for me, when, actually, he deserved one from me since I first met his stream. His commitment with photography is explained in his profile. But what makes a difference is the fact that photography is his hobby, his pleasure. I believe that someone who dedicates so much attention to his pleasure can only bring to light beautiful things. As Eric says below, it is almost impossible not to fave all his pictures. Farfarm is a MUST!

Michel, Who doesen´t like giving credit were it´s due? ;^) After nearly 6 months worth of steps followed, it´s due now. Before I get embaressed for witing too long! Wishing you another year of success and opening doors. Steve

When I look at Michel's photos... ...I get the overwhelming feeling of anticipation...something's happening in all that stillness...butterflies in my stomach...I've never seen those things before...I want to see those photos...I'd want to get into those pictures...I'd want to stand next to him while he's taking those photos...what does he look like when he's looking through the camera...I need to breath faster and more intense... It's so hard to explain the reactions in logical sentences, but your photos cause something basic in me. Something which makes me love photography in general so passionately. Life! Thank you for sharing your photography with me, too :) Hugs, Ilona

Michel is a fantastic photographer. I can honestly say I've never seen a bad photo from him, and to take it one step further, I rarely see one that I wouldn't mark as a favorite. The Dutch may have a marginal football side, but they have one hell of a photographer! :)
