UPDATE: Will be giving a tour of Mount Olivet Cemetery to the Nashville Photography Meetup Group on Aug. 21, 2010. I am excited about it. Group will meet at 4:00 PM and tour will begin at 4:30 PM in front of the old cemetery office/chapel.

UPDATE 9/3/09: I joined the Nashville Photographers Meetup Group. They meet at a new location once as a group for photoshoots. I'm hoping to find someone with a Canon Rebel XS and possibly learn from them. It should be interesting and I am excited about it. The next meetup is the Tennessee State Fair on Sept. 19 but I had already made other plans for that particular day.

Fallingwater's photos are absolutely amazing. Among other photography subjects, he has a penchant for cemeteries, which are along my interests as well. He has an eye that captures the essence of what is out there to see and has no problem sharing his knowledge on how the shot was taken. I look forward to shooting with him during my next visit to Tennessee. If you have the chance to visit an area near him, check with him to see where the good shots are. I hope to emulate his work for my own collections.
