Please note that I don't have alot of spare time so please don't be offended if I lapse with comments for a while. I don't like to sit at the computer, I like to be out there shooting birds...and all the other stuff I do.

I'm trained in finance and worked on Bay Street until I decided to stay home and raise our kids. During this time I pursued many hobbies, and photography and art has come out on top. I enjoy shooting birds in their natural environment, so any chance I get, I hike through our conservation area in search of new subjects. It's more difficult to shoot birds on their own terms than when you draw them to an artificial scenario on your terms. I get a thrill when I'm able to capture a new bird out in nature, and even more thrilled if I'm lucky enough to have nice composition as well.

I don't care much for rules when I shoot...there are enough constraints in the real world and It feels liberating to be free to shoot my way. I reject what should be and has to be, and shoot what is, through my lens, according to my vision.
