This is long overdue in the writing and I'm glad to have been reminded to "get my butt in gear" and get it done. Corey's images have been a favorite of mine for quite sometime now as he expresses himself in a fashion that is wonderfully unique yet similar to my own. So many of his images seem pulled from the pages of some master historian. And, while he does give background of the places he has captured, there is a beautiful haunting quality given to them through tone and focus that helps the viewer imagine and life and time that has all but now vanished. Corey is sharing more than just a piece of the planet from which he lives.....he is sharing a glimpse of the enormity of love he has for family, relations and the marks they make on the world..... before they completely fade away.
